SHUTTER ISLAND

It is one of the most strange films I've seen. When things happen you don't know if they are real or not.
The film is about two detectives (Edward Daniels "Teddy" and his new partner Chuck Aule) who they go to Shutter Island on a ferry. There, there's a mental hospital (Ashecliffe Hospital) and they have to investigate the disappearance of a patient (Rachel Solano) who has escaped of the hospital under supervision.
Teddy and Chuck become friends and Teddy tells Chuck that he was a soldier and liberate people from a concentration camp, he also tells that his wife (Dolores) died two years ago because someone burned their house.
They go to a house to investigate and when they return to the hospital they are separated. Teddy asks for Chuck and Dr Cawley makes him believe that he came alone. Teddy looks for Chuck and the last place he looks is at the lighthouse. At the top of the lighthouse there's Dr. Cawley, he says to him that his name is Andrew Laeddis not Edward Daniels (the names are similar) and that he murdered his wife after know that she murdered their children.
Teddy was a patient from the hospital and Chuck didn't exist, he was his psychiatrist Dr. Sheehan.
At this part I felt really confused.
The film is directed by Martin Scorsese. Leonardo di Caprio plays Teddy.
