DESCRIPTION: DOUGIE POYNTER

His complete name is Douglas Lee Poynter he's the bass guitarist and vocalist of the band McFly. He was born on 30th November 1987 in Corringham (England). On 2004 he joined McFly. He saw the advert in a magazine with Harry (drummer), Tom and Danny picked them. Dougie is a hard-working boy, he's a little bit shy and cheerful.

He's 1.74 metres tall, light-skinned, he has blonde hair and blue eyes. He is slightly-built. He's very good-loocking, on 2006 he won a Virgin Award as "The world's most attractive man". He and her boyfriend, Frankie Sandford, split up three months ago and he had to go to a rehab clinic. Now he's ok and ready to perform in all their concerts.

He has changed his hairstyle lots of times going from blonde to black and red.

LA SUIT

The first time I went to "La Suit" was last month. I didin't go before because I wasn't sixteeen and because my friends didn't want to go -they prefere other kinds of music, you know-.

I wasn't so excited, but when I came into it wasn't so bad.

We met at Tania's house at quarter past eleven and my father drove us to "La Suit", then there we met with Marc, Alex, Jose, Jordi, Mireia, Muntsa and Aida. The worst thong is that they don't open until 12 o'clock, so you have to make a queue and wait, if you are a boy it doesn't matter but if you are wearing high heels, it's horrible.

When we got inside there weren't a lot of people, but half an hour later yes. The music was great, ther are two rooms with different music and you can choose were to go.

TARADELL

Last Saturday Muntsa, Mireia, Tania and I went to the Carnival of Taradell. At 5 o'clock we met at Mireia's house to dress up and make up. There, we prepared our dinner (a sandwich) and at 7 o'clock (more or less) Muntsa called her father and he brought us to Taradell. When we arrived there was nobody at the street, just a few people, so we went down the street (everyone was looking at us) following some people with fancy dress. When we arrived, there were lots of people dancing and singing. There, we met Alex, Marc, Jordi, Jose and Aida. First we went together but then we lost them. We left Taradell at 11 o'clok because we didn't want to go to "Carpes" because there were little guys. It was a great day!

McFLY

I don't know why, but I love them, they are my new favourite group since three weeks ago.

I listened to them before, but I had never watched a videoclip of them since Laura told me to watch their new song "Shine a Light" on Youtube. I like it and I searched for more songs. Now I can't stop listening to them, so when I went to Barcelona I bought their new CD: Above the Noise. It's a different style, but it is good.

The group is formed of: Danny Jones (guitar and vocals), Tom Fletcher (guitar and vocals), Dougie Poynter (bass guitar and vocals) and Harry Judd (drums). My favourite is Danny, he's really funny.

If on Tuesday you hadn't told me about their concert, now I wouldn't have knoe it.

On Monday we'll go to buy the tickets for the concert (I hope there will be, because yesterday we went to ask) and if there are I will be the happiest girl in the world, I'll tell you on Tuesday!

CARNIVAL: PINK LADIES

We went to Carnival as Pink Ladies!

At the afternoon we went to the supermarket to buy pizza. Then we went to Carlota's house to make up and put our hair good. Her mother is a hairdresser, so we were like the true Pink Ladies.

We caught the train to Torelló at quarter to nine and we arrived there at nine o'clock.

We danced, sang, got lost..., definitely a normal Carnival night. I didn't see a lot of known people, and if I had seen them I don't remember. About one o'clock we went to Carpes, it was plenty of people and very hot too. My parents came to Torelló at five o'clock, at that time I was exhausted and happy to go back home.

BARCELONA

In the White Week, Marc, Tania, Guillem, Mercè, Jesica and I went to Barcelona.

We arrived in Barcelona at 9:35 and we caught the train to go to L'Illa. I haven't been there since that day, I didn't like it at all because it's too big and I felt like a lost girl there, it's very strange. In L'Illa we went to Fnac, because I wanted to buy a McFly (my new favourite group) CD. There, there wasn't any Cd of them so we left L'Illa.

We caught the metro and went to Portal de l'Àngel. When we felt hungry, we went to Maremagnum an d we stayed on the grass eating and listening to music. It was a beautiful, hotty, sunny day. At the afternnon we went to Boqueria and we drank a fruit juice, it was very tasty (strawberry).

I didn't want to leave Barcelona without buying my McFly CD, so we went to "el Triangle", where there's another Fnac and there I bought my CD :D. I was very happy to found it.

CERDANYA

We had a very good time there, it's one of my favourites trips at school.

The first day we went to Odeilo and I don't remember the name, we saw solar energies. At the afternoon we visited more installations and we caught the bus to the "hotel". At the night we went to a bar and we play pool.

On Tuesday we went ski. I thought it will be funny (like last year), but no. It was the worst part of the trip, we couldn't go down from the top of the mountain, so we caught again "the egg" and go to the bottom of the mountain. But the worst of the day was that I couldn't walk alone because I injured my leg, it was for only three hours the I put my foot on the ground.

The last day we went to Carcassonne, like when we went 2 years ago and had dinner there.

The trip was good but the day after we went to school because we had a Catalan exam!!

TANGLED

When I saw the trailer of the film I thought "Oh, it's always the same story.".

I watched it two weeks ago and it's hilarious!! You laugh a lot.

It is about Rapunzel (the lost princess) and Flynn (a thief).

A bad woman kidnapped Rapunzel when she was born. Her "mother" keeps her at the top of a tower because Rapunzel has magic her and it keeps her young.

Every year for her birthday she askes her "mother" to go out of the tower to see the lights, but the answer is always no. Eighteen years later she can escape with Flynn (for accident he has found her) and they escape from the guards who want Flynn.

Finally, they arrive at the city where there are the lights, there Rapunzel meets her parents and she marries Flynn and they are the Prince and the Princess.

BACK AGAIN TO SCHOOL

I have to get up at 7 o'clock again!
Christmas holydays went really well. I'm very happy about the presents, my parents bought me a hi-fi music system. Now I can listen to the radio, put a USB pen, listen a CD and listen to the iPod, the sound is spectacular. Last weekend I went with my family to Barcelona, we went shopping. I bought some clothes with my own money, so now I don't have enough to buy other things. The good thing is that in less than two weeks we'll go to Cerdanya and there we will go skiing. We will have a good time!

THE BEATLES

I have a CD with all of their greatest hits and all of the are incredible.They were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. The group consisted of: John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals).

They were so popular, people called it the "Beatlemania".

John Lennon was murdered outside his home in New York in 1980, George Harrison died of cancer in 2001 and Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive.
