GOODBYE:)

Honestly, this has been the worst course ever. Last year I thought that 1st of batxillerat was hard, but I couldn't imagine what it was going to be the next year. We had exams every week, now we are nearly free, I just have to do four more exams and then practise for Selectivitat. My marks have decreased a lot this year, maybe because of the pressure. First, it was for the research project, then exams and now I'm nervous about Selectivitat.

I have been six years at the highschool and now I feel sorry for leaving. I'll miss all the classmates. This means that I'll meet new people and everything will be new for me, new classes, new streets, new professors.... everything will change. I'm a bit afraid because I'm really shy.

I hope I can live in Barcelona, it is my dream.

So, this is the last post. Maybe next year I continue I don't know.

AMELIE

Amelie are a Catalan rock band. It was "born" on 2009 in Barcelona, when three of the five members decided to form a group.
The member of the grup are: Carles Ribes, Albert Segú, Marcel Selva, Àlex Pla and Edgar Regincós.
The first time I listened one of their songs ("Per tu") I thought that they were like other Catalan groups, with just love songs, I didn't like them. But I don't know why, now I really like their music. Last Saturday I went to Barcelona and I bought their album, which is called "Somiant Desperts". It contains eleven songs, for exapmle: "Dia i nit", "Àgil", "Necessitàvem", "Escapa't", "Fulls escrits", "Ens hem fet grans", etc. Today they are preforming at Ripoll. Luckily, one of the singers, Carles, post on Fcebook "Hello" on my biography (don't know why) and I asked him if they were going to come at plana the Vic, he said they they would like it very much. I hope they come someday!!

ITALY*

Unfortunately, this was the last trip we did together. We had a lot of fun.

We left Manlleu on Monday 26 March at seven o'clock and arrived at Cannes at six o'clock. There, we went to the beach and at about nine o'clock we arrived at the hotel in France. The following day we arrived at Pisa (at two o'clock, because the bus driver was always late). I was impressed by the tour, I thought it would be smaller. On Wednesday we went to Firenze, which I had been when I was younger. On Thursday, we visited Siena. It is a beautiful city, full of tourists. That night we went out and we met two Italian boys. At first we were afraid because they said that they knew an Irish pub which was very good, and we never arrived. Finally we arrrived and the pub was really good. The last day we had to go to Volterra, which is the city where "New Moon" was shot, but we couldn't go because we didn't have enough time, it was a pity. Instead of going to Volterra we went to St Gimignano. The town is plenty of tourists' shops, but I was angry because I though that Volterra would have been much better.

At the afternnon we took the bus to go to Chivita Vecchia near Rome (our ship was in Barcelona because of the general stike). Our ferry left on Friday at 22.15pm. At night we went to the disco, and I didn't feel like if  I was on a ship. On the morning we went to the deck to see the sea. I was really impressed, everywhere I looked was bue, the bad point was that it was really windy. We spent 20 hours more or less on the ship, but time flied. On seven o'clock we arrived at Barcelona.

In Italy I bought pasta and some jewlery.

If I could I'd repeat it!

ED SHEERAN

His complete name is Edward Christopher Sheeran. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, in The UK on 17th February 1991. He's a singer and song-writer. Ed plays folk, acoustic hip hop and grime music. He can play the guitar and he can do beatboxing too!

His last album, "+" was released on the 9th September 2011 and it has four singles: "The A Team", "You Need Me", "Lego House" and "Drunk". At the "Lego House" videoclip we can see Rupert Grint, it's hilarious because they look like brothers and some people got confused while they were watching the videoclip. Ed is very talented, by now he has won thwo Brits at the 2012 Brit Awards: one for "British Solo Male Artist" and the other for "British Breakthrough Act". I really want him to win more in the future. (One Direction won the Brit for "Best British Single".)

I feel relaxed when I listen to him, he has a lovely voice.

MY FAVOURITE SPORT

I have never been a big sports fan, but if I have to chose one I'd pick swimming. I've never been afraid of water and since I was little my parents brought me to the beach and some swimming pools. My father and grandad taught me how to swim during the summer. Since then, I haven't stopped practising it.

At primary school, swimming was obligated and once a week we went to the swimming pool. At first of ESO I gave up swimming because I didn't have time.

Now I usually go swimming, sometimes twice a week. I think that swimming can make you forget about batxillerat and all the exams. It makes me feel relaxed especially on exams weeks.

Swimming is one of the best sports people can practise because you move all your body and lots of doctors recommend it.

I'M JUST CRAZY ABOUT COOKING

Maybe it's a strange hobby to be interested in for teenagers but I like it. I love making my favourite dishes.

I started four years ago by making omelettes, which is really easy, the ones I made at the begginig were terrible. Now I can do them with ham, cheese... and they are delicious, but omelettes aren't my favourite food.

My mother has taught me how to make my favourite dish: "spaghetti alla carbonara", of course it's Italian food. At first, I needed my mother's help but now I can do it on my own! I'm proud of it and my parents too because they say that it's delcious. Every Sunday, my sister and I make pizza, it's even better than the ones in restaurants.

Last weekend we made some cupcakes. They were delicious. Here's a photo while they were in the oven.

My day started badly, but it got better and better. I got up at seven o'clock. I got dressed and had breakfast. The school bus picked me up at quarter to eight and fifteen minutes later I was doing a maths exam. The exam didn't go well. The second class we did was P.E. and we played football. I was standing near the goalkeeper and suddenly the ball hit my head. I fell on the ground, but luckily I wasn't hurt. The rest of the morning was boring.

At half past two all classes finished. While I was walking home and listening music on my iPod, I heard a loud noise and fell on the ground again. This is the last thing I remember.

I woke up and everything I saw was white. Then I heard a familiar voice asking me if I was okay. I couldn't believe it! The person who hit me with his car was Niall Horan from One Direction! I wasn't angry with him, because, at least, he stayed there until I woke up. That was the worst and best day of my life.

DESCRIPTION: HARRY STYLES

His name is Harry Edward Styles. He was born in Chesire, England on February the 1st in 1994, so he's seventeen, like me!

He's the youngest member of One Direction, but he sings as well as the other guys.

When he went to the X Factor audition he had just finished his GCSEs at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. At first he wanted to study Law, sociology and Business, but he wanted to try if he could make it as a singer, and definetelly he can.

At the audition he sang Stevie wonder's "Isn't She Lovely". The judges were Nicole Scherzinger, who said he had an amazing voice, Louis. who said that he he was too young and Simon Cowell, who disagreed with Louis and said that he could be very good with a bit of vocal coaching. he obtained two "yes" and one "no", so he got through to Bootcamp.

He has got brown curly hair, and a lot of girls love him because of his curls. It's a little bit strange.

His eyes are blue-green and I love them. He always smiles, I think he's got a perfect smile!

DESCRIPTION: NIALL HORAN

I don't know what should I write, so I will write two more descriptions.

Today it's time for Niall Horan. He's a member of One Direction.

He was born in Mullingar, a town in Ireland, which is the county town of Westmeath on September 13th 1993. He's the Irish one in the band.

He has been singing since he was a kid, so his dream came true when One Direction won the third place on the XFactor.

Niall is tall. His eyes are blue. He has short and blonde hair, but it's not natural, the stylist of XFactor dyed it. He's really cute!

He's got an amazing voice and Irish accent. I love the way he sings! Hope someday they will come to Catalonia.

ONE DIRECTION

One Direction is a Brittish-Irish boy band. They have become famous because they took part in The X Factor of Britain (Season 7). They didn't win, but they were 3rd.
The band is formed by: Liam Payne (18), Niall Horan (18), Louis Tomlinson(19), Zayn Malik(18) and Harry Styles(17).
Since they left The X Factor, they have been on tour in Great Britain.
They have released only two singles "What Makes You Beautiful" ang "Gotta Be You". The second was on Youtube on Tuesday and there are more than 3 million views far from now! These guys are amazing. On November 21st they will bring out their first album: "Up All Night" I'm going to buy it!

MY LITTLE COUSIN

Hi Joan!
Today I'm going to write about my weekend. My plans were staying at home and studying maths, doing the TR, some compositions, well homework in general, but yesterday my uncle phoned us. He said that he was sick and my aunt too, so we took care of Aina, my little cousin, she's only six months!
When my dad told us I thought: Ok, homework can wait, because I only see her every fifteen days, more or less.

We went to Vic, I walk her with the stroller and she is so funny, she puts ALL the things she has in her hands into her mouth. The worst was when she was crying so loud, she was shouting and everyone turned around to see what was happening. Then, Aina started to laugh, ooh she's the cutest baby in the world!

THE LAST POST

The course is already finished, we only have to do our last exams and summer is has arrived.
The year has passed very fast, like always and it hasn't been as difficult as people said. I think next year will be more difficult than this course, because we'll have important exams, I will have to chose a career (that's the worst for me because I don't know what I want to study), and Selectivity.
I think I have done all the blogs. Some of them are longer, so if there aren't enough it will compensate.
Well, I don't know what more to write... Ahh, about the TR when I finish all the exams we'll have to talk about it.

JUST MY LUCK

The film is about a girl who is very lucky and a boy who is very unlucky.
Ashley (Lindsay Lohan) is the luckiest girl in the world, she has a good job, she finds dollar bills, it never rains when she's outside, she wins the lottery... And Jake (Chris Pine) is exactly the opposite, when he doesn't bring with him an umbrella, always rains, he never finds bills on the floor, he is unlucky with his job...
Ashley works in a Public Relations place and Jake is managing a small group of music called McFly (that's the reason why I watched the film :D).
He wants to give to Damon Phillips a CD of McFly, but he can't. Then Ashley mets him on her office and of course she is lucky because they will organize a party together.
Jake heards the news of that party and he goes there. At the party he kisses Ashley and someting happens because they changed their luck.
Jake begins to have good luck, he meets Damon and he is very lucky with McFly because they become famous. However, Ashley is really unlucky, she goes to the prision after the party, her house is flooded and she loses her job.
She realises that after the party has had bad luck and she remember that at the party she kissed a boy. Now she starts to look for the boy she kissed.
Finally she met Jake and the fell in love. When they kissed, Ashley recovers her lucky live and Jake his unlucky live. ashley felt very bad because it was the day of McFly's first concert and thing weren't going on well. After another kiss Jake was lucky again and the concert went on perfect.
Ashley and Jake decided to give their luck to his niece, because she was unlucky, like Jake.
It's a good film to watch on a rainy afternoon.

WAITING FOR THE EXAMS

Yeees, 2 weeks and we will have finished (hardly) all the exams. I think it will be the worst week in all the course, because they are the final exams and you have to get good marks for the final mark.
Fortunatelly the Science of the earth, Chemistry and Maths we have before the exams week and it's better because we'll only need to do one exam per day until the second Monday.
That weekend a I hope I will study hard and I don't knowi is I'm going to watch the football match between Barça and Manchester, it depends on if I'm tirered or not. I wish Barça wins because they deserve it.
Now I'm doing a projest for philosophy. I hate it!! I don't know what to write :(. It's about the opinion of Bin Laden's death, i have to write if it's good or bad and why.

MIREIA'S BIRTHDAY

The night before the concert (7-05-11), Marc, Tania and I went to the party that Muntsa and her friends prepared to Mireia.
Before going to the party, Marc and Tania came to my house because I wanted them to watch the DVD that McFly made, it is about vampires and a mansion where they go to relax and compose. It is not bad but it's very short it only lasts 40 minutes. But in the extras there are videoclios and the making of which it is very funny.
Well we had to be at the station at 7.15 but until 9 o'clock, I think, Mireia didn't arrive so we had to wait for her. When she arrived we gave to her a flower each other and then we had dinner, there were chips, "fuet", olives, "pa amb tomàquet i embotit" of course.
We had a good time and we met new people, so the party was good.

McFLY CONCERT!!

Here's a video of the concert, and fortunatelly I could record that video in which Tom looks at my camera.
I didn't sleep well on Saturday night because of the concert, I was really nervous. So, we left Manlleu at 4 o'clock and we went to Sant Hipolit to pick Tania up. We arrived at Razzmatazz at about half past five. We went there and we saw a short queue and we went there, but then I thought "That's imposible, they have to be Pioneers" and of course they were. Pioneers are the girls who pay more at their web page to have an Early Enter a Meet&Greet.... so we followed the other queue, imagine what: there were hundreds of people waiting there.
Suddenly we heard some girls screaming so I run to Razzmatazz entry and I saw them, I saw the McFly guys! It was like, "OMG! they're real :)".
We waited outside until half past seven, then we entered to Razzmatazz. It was so hot there! There is where I bought my McFly T-shirt, there were other merchandise but I didn't like them and ther were too expenxive.
We went to the concert hall, it was crowded and we could go to the stage lateral. The bands before McFly were: Dr.Pitangú and Preciados. I didn't like them so much.
Finally at 9 o'clock (half an hour late) McFly came out to the stage, people were just crazy. The first song they sang was "Party Girl". My favourites were: "All About You", "Falling in Love", "The Heart Neer Lies", "The Last Song", "Smile", "Transylvania" and "Shine a Light".
My favourites moments were when Tom, Danny and Harry looked at us and when Harry put on the Barça's T-shirt.
The concert was incredible I won't forget it.

DESCRIPTION: DANNY JONES

Daniel Alan David Jones, I don't know why they have to have more than 2 names.

Well, Danny is the vocalist and guitarist of McFly. He was born in Bolton, on 12th March 1986 (England).

Danny is tall, well-built. He has blue-grey eyes and dark short hair. He's intelligent, agile, sportive and very, very good-loocking!

In my opinion, Danny has the best voice in McFly, I don't say that Tom's voice is not good, but Danny has been to a TV programme called "Popstar to Operastar" and now his voice is better.

If he wasn't a singer he would be a footballer. Since 2007 he has been going out with her girlfriend, Georgia Horseley.

DESCRIPTION: DOUGIE POYNTER

His complete name is Douglas Lee Poynter he's the bass guitarist and vocalist of the band McFly. He was born on 30th November 1987 in Corringham (England). On 2004 he joined McFly. He saw the advert in a magazine with Harry (drummer), Tom and Danny picked them. Dougie is a hard-working boy, he's a little bit shy and cheerful.

He's 1.74 metres tall, light-skinned, he has blonde hair and blue eyes. He is slightly-built. He's very good-loocking, on 2006 he won a Virgin Award as "The world's most attractive man". He and her boyfriend, Frankie Sandford, split up three months ago and he had to go to a rehab clinic. Now he's ok and ready to perform in all their concerts.

He has changed his hairstyle lots of times going from blonde to black and red.

LA SUIT

The first time I went to "La Suit" was last month. I didin't go before because I wasn't sixteeen and because my friends didn't want to go -they prefere other kinds of music, you know-.

I wasn't so excited, but when I came into it wasn't so bad.

We met at Tania's house at quarter past eleven and my father drove us to "La Suit", then there we met with Marc, Alex, Jose, Jordi, Mireia, Muntsa and Aida. The worst thong is that they don't open until 12 o'clock, so you have to make a queue and wait, if you are a boy it doesn't matter but if you are wearing high heels, it's horrible.

When we got inside there weren't a lot of people, but half an hour later yes. The music was great, ther are two rooms with different music and you can choose were to go.

TARADELL

Last Saturday Muntsa, Mireia, Tania and I went to the Carnival of Taradell. At 5 o'clock we met at Mireia's house to dress up and make up. There, we prepared our dinner (a sandwich) and at 7 o'clock (more or less) Muntsa called her father and he brought us to Taradell. When we arrived there was nobody at the street, just a few people, so we went down the street (everyone was looking at us) following some people with fancy dress. When we arrived, there were lots of people dancing and singing. There, we met Alex, Marc, Jordi, Jose and Aida. First we went together but then we lost them. We left Taradell at 11 o'clok because we didn't want to go to "Carpes" because there were little guys. It was a great day!
